They have some granite in the kitchen, and though they're older, they're pretty well taken care of, and a little updated. They are definitely roomy for the price, and it's a really nice location, right inside the loop.we've had a few problems, but maintenance took care of things relatively quickly. Maintenance has stolen from me. as well as purposefully destroyed my belongings on multiple occations. They have severe electrical problems that they deny so won't fix. (you WILL have to change your lightbulbs every other week. and thats generous as they typically don't keep that long) apartments are extremely noisy and you can hear the neighbors every move. Maintenance just logs your requests as done without actually fixing stuff.
I could barely cook without roaches swarming my prep space. It took two months to effectively address the problem on my own. I also had issues with my mailbox key working and issues with prompt responses to maintenance issues. My garbage disposal stopped working and it took 3 weeks for a maintenance person to fix it and when he did he left an unhelpful note about how to resolve future issues. The apartment is affordable and I haven't had any safety concerns, but I've been disappointed with my overall experience. 3022 Broadmead Dr has 3 shopping centers within 1.4 miles, which is about a 27-minute walk.
